So it turns out the rumours are true, the third and final trailer for J. J. Abrams new instalment of the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will hit the internet next Monday (October 19) alongside advance ticket sales.
The third trailer is expected to be longer than the previous teasers, and will give us more information on the plot and characters of the upcoming film. I imagine, like me, you are in a quandary as to whether you should watch the (no doubt spoiler ridden) trailer, and after thinking long and hard about it, well, I can’t not! I don’t think there is a force on Earth that could quell my excitement for this film; though maybe the announcement that the next entry will be a stand-alone Jar Jar Binks feature could do it.
A new poster for the Force Awakens will also debut on Sunday (October 18), giving us the official logo of the rebooted franchise and no doubt a few more tasty morsels to pick apart over the coming weeks. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will open in the UK on December 18, and I will be attempting to freeze myself in carbonite until then. Check out the previous long form teaser below.
