Bradley Cooper is an actor who takes his craft seriously; after starring in Kitchen Confidential, a US sitcom about chefs that was cancelled after just one series, he has realized what he needs to do to play a convincing chef. For preparation for the lead role in Burnt, from August: Osage County director John Wells and Locke screenwriter Steven Knight, he did everything from kitchen training with Gordon Ramsey to learning how to flip burgers in Burger King.
Now, it is time for us to see whether his lessons in cooking have paid off, as the first trailer for Burnt has arrived – it is safe to say that he is definitely channeling Gordon Ramsey’s angry TV persona in the kitchen scenes. It is set for UK release on October 16 and the all star cast includes his American Sniper screen wife Sienna Miller, Fifty Shades of Grey’s Jamie Dornan, Emma Thompson, Daniel Bruhl and Uma Thurman.
