After taking the hit show from the BBC, ITV are reported to be considering Dermot O’Leary to front The Voice UK. The singing contest will join the ITV schedules in 2017, and former X Factor host O’Leary is claimed to be the one set to host it. The Irishman would be replacing Emma Willis and Marvin Humes who currently host the show on the BBC.
Having only left The X Factor earlier this year, and with years of presenting experience, O’Leary is supposedly the first choice for ITV bosses for when the show moves channels. If the reports are correct, we wonder what Simon Cowell would make of all of this.
