Franco Chadian Artist Cleylia Drop A New Single ‘Echo’

The Franco-Chadian singer-songwriter Cleylia has released the single “Echo” from her upcoming EP.

“Echo” marks an exciting new chapter in Cleylia’s musical journey and is accompanied by a visually stunning music video. The film “Echo” delves into the familiar feeling of inadequacy and being out of sync with those around us.

Cleylia’s powerful vocals and poignant lyrics capture the heartfelt intensity of this universal struggle. The song showcases her unique blend of African, R&B, Oriental, French Pop, and various other influences, which can be found on her upcoming EP, Racine.

The “Echo” music video transports viewers to an N’Djamena-based Afro-futuristic world, where the discovery of a new video game offers a path to uncovering one’s inner self. This captivating visual narrative complements the song’s themes of self-discovery and personal growth.

French-Chadian singer-songwriter Cleylia was born in Paris on March 28, 1994. She gained prominence in 2014 after posting a rendition of “Mama Do” by Pixie Lott on Facebook. Cleylia has been refining her craft since she was 12 years old, taking a brief hiatus to complete her studies in international business and digital marketing.

Her passion for music ultimately led her to establish her own independent label, BNC Entertainment and Company, in 2020. Since then, she has gained popularity through her original songs and covers, particularly the “Medley Tchad” on YouTube, which she created as a tribute to Chadian and African music.

We can’t wait to listen to her upcoming EP. Watch the music video below:
