French-Canadian Musician Justine Blanchet Releases New Track ‘Heart Less’

Nashville-based French-Canadian multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Justine Blanchet has released a new track titled “Heart Less” and she asks you to use your heart less next time.

It’s refreshing to find a good track with quality lyrics that gets people thinking. Should there be a time in our life when we we think listening to our hearts would be beneficial? Blanchet has found the best way to find this one out and that’s writing a song about it.

Blanchet’s second Nashville-produced single, “Heart Less,” was created by Grammy-nominated Danick Dupelle (Tebey,Tyler Joe Miller,Matt Lang).

“Heart Less” is a catchy song with modern country beats and pop sensibilities that was written by the formidable trio of MacKenzie Porter, a Canadian country music star, Grammy winner Emily Weisband, and Jordan Schmidt.

With a vivacious vocal style that exudes swagger and sass, Blanchet leads listeners through a girl-meets-bad-boy tale of falling in love, losing it, and coming to realise what’s right.

Justine Blanchet is infusing the world of country music with her distinct brand of culture, bravery, and sophistication, from Quebec’s Festival Country de Lotbinière to Nashville’s Bluebird Café.

Justine grew up in the Montreal area but first travelled to Nashville when she was 14. She was drawn to country music because of its lyrics and history as well as artists like Shania Twain, Lady A, and Reba McEntire.

Her dreams of relocating there began and never stopped after she visited the Bluebird Café two years later to perform at an open mic.

Currently dividing her time between Nashville and Montreal, Justine teamed up with CCMA-winning producer Danick Dupelle  for the upcoming projects this summer.
