The famous French luxury brand Louis Vuitton continues on the road to gastronomy! Following its announcement a year ago, Louis Vuitton opened a restaurant and café for the first time in its history, at the top of its new building, the Louis Vuitton House Osaka Midosuji.
Several luxury brands had already taken the step into the restaurant business, such as Versace or even the French luxury house Dior, with its restaurant located in Saint Tropez, France, and now Louis Vuitton is following suit.
Louis Vuitton chose to install its first restaurant in Japan to create a closer link with Japanese consumers, who love the luxury house. Located in Osaka, Japan, the café and restaurant, Le Café V and Sugalabo V, offer the dishes of the famous chef Yosuke Suga, who was once the protégé of legendary chef Joël Robuchon, who holds nearly 32 Michelin stars.
Café V is located on the fourth floor of the store, where guests can enjoy cocktails served on an outdoor terrace. The restaurant, Sugalabo V, opens only for dinner, with a high-end menu imagined by the critically acclaimed chef.
But that’s not all! The famous luxury brand won’t stop at this restaurant and café in Osaka. Indeed, the brand is planning to launch a chocolate factory this time in Tokyo. Located at the top of its seven-storey store, customers will be able to eat at Café LV and Chocolat V.
In addition to the coffee offer, Le Chocolat V will offer LV monogrammed chocolates in boxes from 4 to 125 pieces. The opening is scheduled for March 17, 2021.
