Lava Lazuli who is a french singer-pianist-songwriter and performer has just released a new emotional track “Nuit Sans Lune” that is a gift for people who enjoys a slow-build instrumentational masterpiece.
Two separate titles of Session Acoustique #1 are accessible on all streaming services (Regard noir and Nuit sans lune). It discusses vulnerability, fears, and anxiety in light of the appearance and behaviour of others.
Regard Noir discusses how it can be challenging to ignore how people can judge us for who we are, the decisions we make, and other factors. This song was written in response to the need to understand and painful friendship breakups.
The phrase “Nuit sans Lune” alludes to the idea that specific memories can be evoked by certain circumstances, feelings, or vibes. In this passage, it is discussed how traumas can sometimes have an impact on us and cause us to feel uneasy and depressed.

It all started when Lazuli met Karray, a meeting in 2020 served as the impetus for the entire project. During the Tengu Sound System‘s artistic residency in Lille, France, Lava Lazuli and Karray came into contact. Karray is a radio host and one of the Tengu Sound System’s original members.
Many artists, including Amy Winehouse, Pomme, Selah Sue, Billie Eilish, Agnès Obel, Adèle, Angus, Julia Stone, Angèle, Norah Jones, Lomepal, etc. have influenced Lava Lazuli. She was raised on their vocals and music.
She would always play their music on her piano. She experimented with new musical genres as she got to know Karray, using more instruments and arrangements. Kendrick Lamar, Gil Scott-Heron, Pablo Moses, MF Doom, DJ Mehdi, Lee Perry, De La Soul, The Roots, and Wu-Tang are just a few of the new influences Karray introduced to her music.
Lava Lazuli aims to convey despondent feelings and sadness through rhythmic yet ambient music.
