As someone that has always been extremely well connected to his fans, Gerard Way, who was the lead singer of legendary rock band, My Chemical Romance, has once again gifted his fans and general audience with another gem from his musical past.
This time, it is a cover of “Superstar” by The Carpenters.
According to Way, he used to do his vocal warm ups while recording The Black Parade by singing The Carpenters, “so I guess we decided to record it one day.” He went on further to explain: “This specific recording was from the day I sang “Cancer” for the album”.
