Melancholia and nostalgia: this is what Ava Vegas makes us live through her songs. Her filk-cinematic indie pop style transporting us into a dream made of darkly romantic Neo-psychedelia. With her new single “Pleasure Pilgrim”, Ava has been able again to make us live this indelible experience.
Ava’s career started when she was really young, growing up between a medieval town in the German mountains and on the island of Ibiza, where she experience the techno and wild hippie tradition.
She studies architecture in Berlin and her passion for fashion brought her to become a model. Ava’s interests are now getting together in her music career where she surrounded herself with collaborator who operate in music, art, and fashion and help her to improve artistically.
This collaborations are resulting is fantastic achievements. Her debut album Ava Vegas was praised by Rolling Stone magazine, and featured on national TV and radio station in Germany. Ava performed at SXSW in 2022 and at Eurosonic Norderslaag and Reeperbahn Festival.
Now, Ava begins a new chapter in her career, with her upcoming album Desert Song, produced by Ava and Rob Kleiner.
Among the track which are part of this new adventure, we find “Pleasure Pilgrim”, with a music video that creates a micro-universe between heartbreak and ecstasy.
About her new song, Ava says, ‘I wrote “Pleasure Pilgrim” in the state of expectation. Getting ready for the night, imagining seeing your person there. Not going for anything specific, just the tension, the attention and the mutual attraction. Pleasure Pilgrim is probably my most seductive song’.
