Global Superstar Wizkid Set To Bring ‘Made In Lagos’ Tour To London’s O2 Arena

Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter and global superstar Wizkid released his last album Made In Lagos in October last year and he has now announced a worldwide tour to support the album. The ‘Made In Lagos’ tour will hit North America before coming to London’s The O2 Arena on Sunday, November 28.

For this tour, fans will not only be surrounded by some unique sounds, live instrumentation as well as vibes of Lagos, because it aims to celebrate Wizkid’s love and appreciation for his origins and inspirational journey, but the ‘Made In Lagos’ tour will also introduce live versions of the album, and will feature song performances that span Wizkid’s 10-year discography.

This Wizkid headline show at The O2 Arena is not a one-off headline show, it is a part of a bigger project at The O2 as it forms part of The O2’s ‘Welcome Back’ series, which features a diverse lineup of headline artists performing to full capacity crowds again, as the world bounces back from the global pandemic.

The ‘Welcome Back’ series was announced in May 2021 with their first act welcoming the UK comedian Mo Gilligan + Friends.

The date for tickets to go on sale for Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ show at London’s The O2 Arena has not yet been announced but this will come very soon. For the fans who want to be the first to hear about it, you can sign up here.
