Next stop Florence. The Italian fashion house chose Italy to host its 2018 Cruise collection, precisely at Palatina Gallery in Pitti Palace on May 29.

It is the first time that a fashion show will be held in this Reinassance palace in Florence.

Gucci isn’t all about fashion, but teams up with local partners to sustain cultural projects. In fact, Gucci will join forces with Uffizi Gallery and the city of Florence by donating 2 millions euros to restore Boboli Gardens, the iconic and most famous Italian garden, over a period of three years.

The Galleria Palatina overlooks this beautiful gardens which hosts a collection of statues dating back at the XVI century.

Creative director, Alessandro Michele, keeps up the tradition of using wonderful historical venues for the brand’s shows, such as London’s Westminster Abbey in 2017 and the New York’s Dia Art Foundation in 2016.
