In January Gucci announced the appointment of Sabato de Sarno, as its creative director, the replacement for designer Alessandro Michele, but De Sarno won’t make his official debut as creative director until the Spring 2024 collection hits the runway in September. That means Gucci’s design team has temporarily taken the helm.

This new Fall/Winter 2023 collection from Gucci as revealed at Milan Fashion Week is the latest imprint of designer Alessandro Michele. We can find jeans, shoulder bags and blazers. We find the imprint of Michele on several pieces of the collection such as diamond bikinis or colored faux fur.

However we still found more classic pieces like double-breasted pants and beige trench coats, the bags were also reasonable sizes and moccasins made with a vine sole.

The place had been arranged so that it resembled an office to allow to visualize the new collection in a universe common to the largest number. The models arrived and left by elevators.

Many Gucci ambassadors such as musicians A$AP Rocky and Florence Welch, as well as actresses Dakota Johnson and Julia Garner, received an invitation to attend the show of the luxury house.

Along with casual trench coats, stripped shirting, and baggy pants, raindrop-shaped ornaments adorned formal wear with diamond embellishment that shone brightly beneath the lighting.

Jumbo-sized shoulder stuffing raised ceremonial clothing to new heights, while silver jackets with fringes swung back and forth towards the dance floor.
