The upcoming thriller Memory has added Guy Pearce and Monica Bellucci to its cast alongside Liam Neeson.
Memory is an action film starring Liam Neeson and directed by Martin Campbell who is known for his James Bond films Goldeneye and Casino Royale.
Liam Neeson will star as Alex Lewis, an assassination expert, while Guy Pearce and Taj Atwal will play two veteran FBI agents, and Hugo Marquez will be a Mexican intelligence liaison officer. The very famous Monica Bellucci will play the role of a local technology tycoon.
According to the script, Alex Lewis refuses to do a job for a dangerous criminal organisation and becomes their target. To survive, he must hunt down those who want him dead. Guy Pearce and Taj Atwal, who will play agents Vincent Serra and Linda Amistead, will investigate the trail of bodies that will lead them to Alex Lewis.
Unfortunately, Alex Lewis will have trouble staying on top of things as he suffers from severe memory loss, which will challenge every decision he makes.
Memory is based on the book De Zaak Alzheimer by Jef Geeraerts, as well as on the Belgian film Memory of a Killer, directed by Erik Van Looy and written by Van Looy and Carl Joos.
No release date has been confirmed yet but we know that the film is currently in production in Bulgaria.
