Haim have revealed that they have began work on their second album after tweeting a photo of producer Ariel Rechtshaid. The photo was then retweeted by band member Este Haim with the caption “here we go again everybody“. Haim’s debut album Days Are Gone reached #1 in the UK on its release in September 2013. In June 2014, the band said that their new album would be ready “very soon“, after confirming that they intended to start recording it in the following month July. Speaking to BBC 6 Music at Glastonbury festival, keyboardist Alana Haim said: “this is the first time we’ve ever written on the road. We’re going home in a month to start recording. I promise record two won’t come in six years, it’ll come very soon”.
