On Sunday, June 27, the stars of the world came together at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to honor black excellence in music, television, film and sports across 21 categories for the 2021 BET Awards, and the stars definitely put stars in our eyes with their most beautiful looks.
Zendaya showed up in a style inspired by the Versace Spring/Summer 2003 archives. Chloe Bailey wore a sexy Valentino mesh dress and Megan Thee Stallion dazzled in a white dress by French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier with a beautiful side slit that went right to her waist.
The evening’s host Taraji P. Henson arrived in a Versace dress with a pink pattern and the designer’s signature gold print. Singer H.E.R. wore a chic black blazer with mesh trousers and her famous sunglasses.
Singer Lil Nas X also went all out with his outfits. He first showed up in a blue and white dress with a matching jacket that looked like it had been painted on. He later returned to the red carpet in a floral suit with lace details.
Saweetie‘s dress was also very impressive. It was a blue/purple colour with a very long train and a huge neckline. Tyler The Creator was also present with his own style. True to his zany style he arrived wearing a red leopard sleeveless jumper over a white t-shirt, black shorts, and black loafers as well as two briefcases in his hands and a white fur hat.
