It’s been six months since Hillary Clinton suffered a stunning defeat at the presidential election and since, her failed campaign has become a best-selling book that might become a television series soon.
Shattered, written by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, topped the combined print and e-book New York Times bestseller list just last week and despite the disapproval of a few of Clinton’s campaign surrogates, has been the talk of Washington since its release.
Shattered has now been optioned for a limited series by TriStar Television, but has yet to recruit writers or a network to produce the project.
Two months ago, HBO had announced plans to adapt Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s own book about Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
