Kim Hyo-yeon, also known as HYO, is a K-Pop singer and member of famous K-Pop girl group Girls Generation.
Girls’ Generation were formed by S.M. Entertainment and the group is composed of: Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Seohyun as well as Hyoyeon. The group debuted in 2009 with their single “Gee“. and went on to release many more hits like “Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)“, “Oh!” or “Run Devil Run“.
In 2017, they released their sixth Korean studio album titled Holiday Night to commemorate their 10th anniversary with two singles titled “Holiday” and “All Night“. Their music is described as electro-pop and bubblegum pop.
Hyoyeon has just released a EDM track titled “Sober” under the new name HYO and it features DJ Ummet Ozcan. The track is a tropical house song with a catchy electric guitar riff.
