‘I Just Want To Be Your Man’ From Leif Erikson Is Out Now | Music News

 

After their EP 21 Grams Of Soul released in 2019, London-based indie rock band Leif Erickson have just released their new single “I Just Want To Be Your Man” on March 13! This sound is part of their new Question Time EP.

 

The Question Time EP, which is composed of 3 tracks, talks about serious and dark subjects like climate change or ineffective politicians in the first sound “Question Time”, and about equally important subjects like heartache in the last two tracks, “When Love Rings” and “I Just Want To Be Your Man”.

 

The group has been acclaimed by DIY: “An expansive journey…there isn’t a note out of place or a stone unturned”, LINE OF BEST FIT: “Reminiscent of Kurt Vile or War on Drugs” and many other like Stereogum, Under The Radar, CLASH, BBC 1, BBC 6 and German channels such as Radioeins, FluxFM and 1Live. They have also performed several concerts in the UK.

 

Sam Johnston, one of the members of the band, explains that the song “I Just Want To Be Your Man” is about a love break-up that we see coming, that we’d like to stop from happening, but it’s inevitable.I t’s a sad song, with simple lyrics and a good groove.
