Famous 90’s grunge band L7 have announced a reunion and their first live shows since their split in 2001. The band will appear at Download Festival at Donington park this year. They have also confirmed an appearance at Azkena Rock Festival in Spain and Hell Fest in France. There will also be more shows to be revealed soon. L7 have also launched a KickStarter campaign to raise funds for a new documentary about the band titled L7: Pretend We’re Dead.

The documentary will be directed by Sarah Price, and will give the viewers an all access look in the band’s journey through the 90s when they were at the peak of their career, having released the critically acclaimed Bricks Are Heavy album in 1992. It will also include unseen vintage home videos of the band, including when they formed in 1985, and were classed as the queens of grunge. Listen below to “Pretend We’re Dead”, the song from which the upcoming documentary is named.
