ITV has confirmed the appointment of former BBC head of drama Polly Hill as its’ new head of drama, alongside a new senior management team that includes former Channel 4 executive Sue Murphy.
Hill will succeed Steve November, whose departure from ITV was announced last week, whilst there have been other changes in ITV’s management, Siobhan Greene moving from ITV studios to become head to entertainment and Peter Davey has been promoted to head of comedy entertainment.
Kevin Lygo commented:
“I’m delighted to announce that Polly, Sue, Shu, Peter, and Rosemary will be joining imminently to lead the programming team through the next phase of ITV’s output.”
“Each of them bring a blend of passion and experience to the roles and I’m confident that as a team we can continue to build on the raft of shows that help to make ITV Britain’s most popular commercial channel.”
