Finnish artist Jaakko Aukusti has released the visuals for his new single “Himalaya” which you can watch below. The song follows the success of previous single “Shadow Boxer” and debut EP Volcano. Jaakko says of the video:
“The aim of the video was to recreate the feeling I had making the song; I recorded it at my apartment and in a dimly lit studio in Helsinki, but the song feels massive and full of bright sounds so we stuck a small conference room full of industrial lights and video projectors and started shooting with a really expensive camera”.
He also added “it’s a track which balances different contrasts, such as ‘silence and noise’ and ‘ethereal walls of reverb and a rave in a distant forest”.
