The sparse snowy mounts of Montreal are the setting for Wim Wenders’ latest film Every Thing Will Be Fine. Starring James Franco, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Rachel McAdams and Canadian native Marie-Josée Croze, the film will be Wenders’ first English language dramatic feature in nearly a decade. Check out the trailer below to see Franco’s dramatic performance amongst the haunting aesthetic beauty that Wenders’ inspires:
Every Thing Will Be Fine follows Tom (Franco), an American writer reeling from a tragic accident that left one child dead and another deeply traumatized. Harried by depression, Tomas is forced to reassess his life and the choices that led him to this place. The film seems wrought with Wenders’ signature themes of isolation and dreams lost to the wilderness, whilst the Canadian landscapes are captured in all their staggering splendour. Every Thing Will Be Fine premiered at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival, and will be shown in 3D.
