Director James Wan treated fans to a few new photos from the set of the upcoming sequel to his 2013 hit The Conjuring just in time for Thanksgiving. Among the photos is a snap of returning stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga joined by Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation star Simon McBurney. In the photos the American film crew can be seen taking parts of London back in time to the 1970s.
Warner Bros. has not yet released an official synopsis for the sequel which is reportedly called The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist. The title is however taken from an existing case where the Warrens were called in to investigate a council house in 70s London, where a single mother reported several strange occurrences including demonic voices and objects moving around on their own. The film is scheduled to be released next year.
