Jason Mraz – Might As Well Dance | Music Video

We already knew Jason Mraz was a romantic fellow. After all, his iconic “I’m Yours“, that was released exactly 10 years ago, still gets played at many weddings, maybe overstepped only by Ed Sheeran‘s “Thinking Out Loud“.

But since the good season is here and the singer’s new album has been announced to drop on August 10, Mraz has unveiled the visuals for his single “Might As Well Dance” and guess what? we can’t stop dancing.

The folk song, that even boasts a nice guitar solo in the middle of the track, is backed by what is the actual footage from Jason Mraz’s wedding, who got married in October 2015 to Christina Carano in Virginia.

Original footage of Jason Mraz singing and playing his guitar on the top of a truck alternates between videos of the couple’s wedding ceremony and reception. All set in a beautiful countryside estate, where people are all rigorously sporting old style bows and bowler hats.

The romantic track, that the singer has defined as “a country-funk jam written to make my favorite someone smile“, is the perfect soundtrack to a wedding as Mraz sings corny, albeit heartwarming, lines like “I’ve got the sweetest crush on you, baby, let’s go“.
