After releasing his debut album at the top of last year to solid reviews, Joey Bada$$ starts his 2016 with a solid track entitled “Ready”. Produced by one of his go-to producers Statik Selektah, Joey goes off on the thumbing beat touching on doing big numbers independently last year, meeting Jay Z as a teen, and even finding time to take a little shot at fellow New York native Troy Ave. Joey is set to drop his sophomore album this year, but with no release date, we’ll have to do with this for now.
