John Krasinski To Reunite With David Denman In Michael Bay’s ’13 Hours’ | Film News

John Krasinski and David Denman were once playing love rivals when working on the US version of The Office but now it appears they’ll be starring alongside each other again in Michael Bay‘s up and coming 13 Hours. Bay’s adaptation of the Mitchell Zuckoff novel will tell the story of the 2012 attack on an American compound in Benghazi.

As well as playing Roy in The Office, Denman is a fine actor with titles like Big Fish, After Earth and Parenthood under his belt. According to The Hollywood Reporter, in 13 Hours, Denman will play an elite sniper named Boon.

With a script from The Town writer, Chuck Hogan and stars like Krasinski, Denman, Pablo Schreiber (Orange Is The New Black), James Badge Dale (The Departed) and Max Martini (Pacific Rim); this should be a film I’d get really really excited about but, as I’ve mentioned over and over again, I’m really not a Michael Bay fan. Like, at all. I find his film making utterly lackluster, and the arrogance of discarding real narrative drive for more explosions makes my really mad. In saying that, for the cast alone, I’m up for giving Bay one more chance to win me over and I’m actually looking forward to seeing a first trailer for 13 Hours. Don’t let me down, Bay!
