John Mayer is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer who gained popularity with his first EP, Inside Wants Out and his two albums: Room For Squares, released in 2001 and Heavier Things released in 2003 winning a Grammy Award in the process for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
In 2006, he released his third studio album titled Continuum which he won two Grammy Awards including Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for lead single “Waiting On The World To Change”.
Churning two pop albums in 2009 and 2010, he returned to country music in 2013 with his sixth studio album Paradise Valley, produced by Don Was and featured collaborations with Frank Ocean and Katy Perry.
Now, with his first piece of music since The Search For Everything back in April 2017, John Mayer releases a new single titled “New Light” with 80’s influences and written by himself and produced by No I.D..
