Im Yoon-ah, better known as Yoona, is an actress, singer and member of famous K-Pop girl group Girl Generations, formed by S.M. Entertainment, who debuted in 2009 with the single “Gee“.
In 2017, they released their sixth Korean studio album titled Holiday Night to commemorate their 10th anniversary with two singles “Holiday” and “All Night“. Their music is described as electro-pop and bubblegum pop.
Apart from Girl Generations activities, Yoona has participated in various television dramas like You Are My Destiny, Love Rain and The King In Love. As a solo artist, she released an EP titled Blossom in 2016 and well as many songs for soundtracks including “Amazing Grace“.
“To You” will be her latest, an acoustic ballad with Lee Sang Soon for Hyori Homestay 2. She wrote about her memories with Lee Hyori, Lee Sang Soon and the guests she met working in Jeju Island.
The teaser features different shots of natural landscapes like a forest and the sea, her shadow on a wall as well as her walking through a beautiful countryside. The music video will be released on May 13 and Season 2 of the South Korean TV program, Hyori Homestay will premiere on May 18.
