Once Upon a Time’s Julian Morris is set to join the cast of New Girl as a new love interest. Cast in a recurring role, Morris will play a teacher named Ryan who works in the same school as Jess (Zooey Dechanel), reports Entertainment Weekly. Jess, who moves up to become the school’s vice principle, is replaced in her classroom by Ryan. Initially, Ryan’s ‘confidence and swagger’ will bother Jess but she will soon find herself falling for the teacher.
New Girl has previously hosted a number of famous actors and last month, it was revealed that Jessica Biel would guest star as Jess’ rival as they both fight over the same man. Morris has also appeared on a number of popular shows such as Pretty Little Liars, ER and 24. He will make his debut in New Girl in October. Season four of New Girl will premiere on September 18 at 9pm ET on FOX.
