Each of her songs reflects a piece of her heart, addressing themes such as the loss of childhood friends, misogyny in society, and even fantastical spiritual awakenings. Originally from Salt Lake City, Kaia has been immersed in the world of music since a young age, attending the Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts and participating in programs like Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse. This exposure led her to a variety of musical genres, ranging from classic rock to jazz, soul, funk, pop, and 80s classics. These diverse influences manifest in her music and style.
Kaia Jette is no stranger to the music scene, having already graced stages from Reno to New York and participating in the Telluride Jazz Festival in Colorado. Over the years, she has collaborated with renowned artists such as Steve Smith of Journey, Lou Marini of The Blues Brothers, Victor Wooten, Jeff Coffin of the Dave Matthews Band, and Christine Ohlman of SNL.
