Katy Perry has just revealed a new music video for her new song “Harleys In Hawaii”. It is her third single this year after “Small Talk” and “Never Really Over”, and was written by the singer with Charlie Puth, Johan Carlsson and Jacob Kasher.
The song is inspired by her holiday experience in Hawaii with her fiancé and actor Orlando Bloom. Katy had recently said: “To be on the back of a motorcycle in Hawaii with the air blowing on your face, it’s so beautiful. I can remember specifically where I was; the street corner I was on in Oahu, whispering to Orlando, and saying ‘I’m going to write a song called ‘Harleys in Hawaii’. And I did. That’s something that will come at some point”.
In the music video, as the title of the song may suggest, we can see the singer riding a Harley on a Hawaiian highway, with a guy, who represents his fiancé Orlando. Some scenes are then shoot in a tiki bar, in a hotel bedroom and on a shoreline, where we can enjoy a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.
Katy Perry has not confirmed, whether this year’s songs will be part of a new EP, which would follow 2017’s Witness, but we are sure the singer has many interested projects planned to be release very soon.
