Kiwi fast riser Kelsy Karter has revealed the video for “Catch Me If You Can“, following the success of the recent single.
Produced by Sammy Witte, the pop tinged rock & roll jam showcases Kelsy Karter’s crisp vocals over an infectious arrangement. The video is incredibly creative. Styled like they have just come back from the 1800’s, Kelsey is a murderous mastermind as she playfully entertains herself with the lifeless body of her former man who was no good. Alongside her band, of course.
Speaking on the release, Kelsy states:
“In the ‘Catch Me If You Can’ music video, the boys with long hair and I kill the boy that broke my heart. I wanted to create a Victorian style Weekend At Bernies. We also have a cameo by Little Jonny and a live chicken and the boys let me disguise them in dresses.”
Picking up a plethora of support, “Catch Me If You Can” sees Karter continue to carve her own lane of biting rock & roll and this track serves to cement Karter as an artist to watch in 2019. Having been in the studio with Pretty Dirty Things founding member Anthony Rossomando, who wrote “Shallow” from the blockbuster film A Star Is Born, things are very promising.
