Kesha’s legal battle with Sony Music and producer Dr Luke has so far resulted in the singer appealing the court’s decision, which denied her the release from her contract, a few days ago. Meanwhile, Dr Luke insists he did not rape the singer, while fellow musicians stand by her side, supporting her cause via the hashtag #FreeKesha.
Following her appeal, Kesha has now suggested that she’s been offered “freedom” from her contract in exchange for taking back the rape accusations. The pop star shared an Instagram picture with the caption: “I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped”.
She also added, “THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again”. Check out Kesha’s Instagram post below:
