KING Apparel And Kairo Keyz Team Up To Showcase Autumn/Winter 2022 Collection

London is, in many ways and for many aspects, the capital of the world. Culture, fashion, entertainment, finance, art, and much more have made this city prestigious and fancy, but London also has an incredibly strong tradition when it comes to street style.

Many relevant UK companies have recently developed projects to valorize this side of the British capital, and KING Apparel is doing the same.

Founded in 2003 by Timmy Hoad and Paul Linton, this streetwear fashion brand prised important clients, like LeBron James, 50 Cent, and Ashley Walters, and always aiming at bringing the UK culture to the forefront of the global streetwear industry.

KING’s last project is an exciting collaboration with South London drill artist Kairo Keyz and acclaimed director Craig Capone, who are teaming up to create the first-ever music video fashion lookbook to promote part one of KING’s Autumn/Winter 2022 collection.

Kairo Keyz’s new single “Mileage”, produced by Michelin Shin, is the perfect soundtrack to the same name music video, where we see Kairo wearing looks from the new Autumn/Winter 2022 collection.

This is not the first project where KING has supported UK music talent, wanting to give insight into the parallels between the brand’s street style and the cultural reputation of London’s music scene.

The “Mileage” music video, which pays homage to the presence and position of KING Apparel in the streetwear industry, only presents a small part of a wider fashion collection.

By means of a series of music content, Hoad and Linton aim to highlight the bond between the creative industries: ‘KING have always passionately supported and celebrated artists and creators from the UK scene and this project demonstrates just how intrinsically linked fashion and music are, and that when we work collectively, the UK and London leads the way as the global creative capital’ as Hoad said.

The first part of the Autumn/Winter 2022 collection, which includes 320gsm heavyweight brush backet fleece tracksuits, combed cotton jersey t-shirts, and headwear pieces, has been presented online on August 31, establishing KING Apparel, once again, as the best in the industry.
