Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has recently spoken to Rolling Stones about the long-awaited new album of the band, which will be the follow-up of 2008 Death Magnetic. The guitarist revealed that they are “slogging away”, recording the new material at a pace that allows them “to live our lives and not have our lifestyles change too much”.
Hammett also confirmed that the band has already began enough songs, none of which are completed though. “We’re slogging away”, he added, “nut you know, it’s metal. It’s heavy” . For every news about Metallica’s upcoming record, keep your eyes peeled here.
