Actress Kirsten Stewart, famous for her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight franchise, and more recently as Lydia Howland, the daughter of an Alzheimer sufferer played by Julianne Moore in Still Alice, is the new face of Chanel make-up.
This move sees her joining model Gisele Bundchen and fellow actress Kiera Knightley, who is currently fronting Chanel’s Rouge Coco lipstick line, as the faces of the fashion house. Stewart’s first outing for Chanel, due to launch next month and shot by photographer to the stars Mario Testino, will be an eye-make up campaign.
The famously chic fashion house has released a teasing description of the upcoming shoot, stating that Stewart will be in a “series of portraits embodying various facets of the contemporary Chanel woman.” On the actresses’ twitter page, she herself has posted images of, what appears to be, potential shots of her upcoming campaign, sporting a dramatic eye look.
