Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue and indie rockers The Vaccines have teamed up for what some might consider an unlikely duet.
The track is called “LAZY” and will form part of the soundtrack to Aardman Animations’ upcoming movie, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon.
A sequel to 2015’s Shaun The Sheep Movie, it will focus on Shaun and the flock as they encounter Lu-La, a cute alien with extraordinary powers, who crash lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, and would soon have to find a way to return her home in order to prevent an alien invasion, Farmageddon.
The Vaccines released their fourth studio album Combat Sports in 2018 and following a summer of festivals across the UK and Europe, they are set to enter the studio to work on their next album.
Meanwhile, Kylie delighted fans at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage last weekend and has just released a greatest hits album, Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection featuring a brand new single, “New York City”.
Shedding tears of joy as she played the festival’s Legend’s slot, her career-spanning set came 14 years after a breast cancer diagnosis prevented her from playing the festival back in 2005.
A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon will be released in cinemas on October 18 in the UK.
