LA-based artist Sebi Ali has released his latest single titled “I Do”, a contemporary R&B track which explores his struggle with depression. Speaking about the song, Sebi explains that it’s “probably the most personal and honest song that [he has] ever written”.
The up and coming artist proves his creative ability in “I Do” as his sultry voice glides over the lo-fi beats, creating an alternative R&B single.
The song is dedicated to Sebi’s girlfriend who helped and supported him through his darkest moments in life. In a statement about “I Do”, the R&B singer Ali said, “I am who I am because of her and I dedicate this song to her”.
Sebi Ali was born into a musical family in Urumqi, a town in the northwest of China. His musical talents were apparent from a young age, as he won the CCTV International Music Competition in Beijing at just six-years old.
In 2016, Sebi Ali moved to America to pursue his dream and studied music recording at Los Angeles Film School. Since graduating, the R&B singer has produced and recorded nine singles and created three official music videos. His biggest hit, “No More”, has over 100,000 streams on Spotify.
