Emerging musician and mathematician Stophe Malone hails from the City of Lost Angels. Stophe has been influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson, Rick James, Marvin Gaye, and Sade, and has been able to mix different styles of music into attractive soulful rhythms. He was the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the LA soul and mind band Burgundy Skies for the previous 9 years.
Stophe Malone is a distinctive songwriter who started writing his first song before he could even start writing his name, “Songwriting is my escape from the world; it’s a place inside of my soul where reality and imagination make love“, he confesses.
After performing at venues throughout Southern California, he has now launched on his solo journey with his debut project ‘II Young IV Love’ highlighting his songwriting pedigree.
He pays tribute to the generations of music before him by producing a sound that unifies feisty youth and the seductive soul of classic. Stophe Malone is the description of “new retro,” the sound that all ages can identify with. Stophe is ready to convey his message of love and life to the universe’s hearts.
His new song “Lil Freak” is a freaky and fun song for people who enjoy dancing and making love. It describes the stage of today’s social media atmosphere in which no one would seem to appreciate the value of relationships and everyone just starts with a single DM.
With insane 808’s and a super catchy top line, “Lil Freak” will have you forgetting where you are while listening.
