Lady Gaga hits the stage with co-star Bradley Cooper in the newly-released first trailer for A Star Is Born, the famous love story which has gone through many adaptations over the years.
Serving both behind and in front of the camera, Cooper makes his directorial debut on what will be the third remake of the 1937 romantic musical drama about a country singer-songwriter struggling with alcoholism who helps an aspiring young actress find fame, after 1954’s version starring Judy Garland and James Mason, and the version with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson in 1976.
In addition to making her feature debut as a Hollywood lead in the remake, pop star Lady Gaga wrote a handful of original songs for the film, with all musical performances recorded live.
