Rumours of Liam Gallagher’s retirement have been circulating after The Sun reported he had told fans in London:
“I am retired now. I can write 25 songs but all of them will be a sh*t”.
A representative for Gallagher has said:
“In true tabloid style it’s not true”
Admittedly the former Oasis frontman hasn’t released any new music since Beady Eye split in 2014 but that still doesn’t seem like he’s turning his back on music, he’s since performed as part of a tribute to The Who and also sang a new song in a pub in Ireland in which he namechecked his brother, Noel. Asked if he’d ever do a solo album he said he wouldn’t ‘because he’s not a c**t’.
Obviously Gallagher has other projects to focus on with his fashion label, Pretty Green still as popular as ever but the man still keeps his finger on the pulse when it comes to music, just check his twitter.
