Madonna has made an appearance in the music video for Snoop Dog‘s latest tune “Gang Signs” featuring Mozzy, at the exact part of the song where he raps “Crip walking with my homegirl Martha / While I’m passing joints to Madonna / Who wants to smoke with Snoop let’s have a smoke or two / Puff puff pass that’s what real smokers do”.
The song was released last month, with the accompanying 6-minute video clip dropping last week on May 6. The banger is taken from Snoop Dogg’s 18th album From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites, which arrived on April 20.
We can see Madonna in her with bright blonde hair in the video, smoking a cigar of some sort, just generally having fun and dancing, which matches well with the rest of the clip, where we can see what looks like a day in Snoop Dog’s life. Madonna wrote on her Twitter “Was so much fun to show up in @SnoopDogg video for his new song Gang Signs!”
In the lyrics, Snoop Dog drops the name of the former president of the United States on his song, he says “Still sippin’ gin and juice while I’m smoking marijuana. I bet you never blew with Obama”, which implies to the public that he is bragging that the two once hung out together to smoke. However Obama doesn’t make a cameo in the video like we have with Madonna.
