Marius Bear is a Swiss London-based artist with an original past. He has been discovered as a talented singer when he was 21 whilst he was serving in the Swiss army.
Commanding troops as a young lieutenant, a soldier quipped that his superior would be better singing than barking orders, and he understood he would be better served holding a note than a gun.
Thus, after his military service, he traveled across the Atlantic to go to New York, and then London. He firstly took a year’s course in music production at BIMM London, and finally he started to work with local songwriters and producers.
He has been writing about contrast between living in the UK and in Swiss. In February 2019 he won the ‘Best New Talent’ Award at the Swiss Music Awards. Since then and with the released of My Crown, he has enchanted crowds during his European Summer Tour.
Now, Marius Bear is back with a new track since His last offering “Come What May“. Titled “Not Loud Enough“, it was released on October 18.
The track features Marius’ distinct vocal and a simple piano melody. And we don’t need much more. It’s a soaring, earthy and soulful tune led by heartfelt lyrics.
