Nothing that Miley Cyrus does can really be considered surprising anymore, and yet few could have predicted the former pop princess’s latest jaunt into psychedelic rock. The new music video for “Lighter”, a track from ‘Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz‘ continues in this vein, and is one of many tracks on the album featuring a collaboration from The Flaming Lips. The video is quite a standard fare for both artists, featuring hallucinogenic colours, a modicum of nudity, and very little else. Cyrus is currently touring with Wayne Coyne’s band, and her latest album features collaborations from a range of incongruous artists, from Big Sean to Ariel Pink.
