Miller Blue Unveils His New Single ‘Make You Move’ | Music News

Following the success of his debut EP Cotton, producer and songwriter Benjamin Joseph Edwards, aka Miller Blue, is back with his energetic single “Make You Move”. Benjamin was born in a small village in England, but soon moved to London to pursue his music career. His biggest inspirations are Frank Ocean, D’Angelo, James Blake, N.E.R.D and Erykah Badu.

“Make You Move” is a track that blends jazz, hip-hop, soul, and electronica, creating an original sound. Catchy beat and Miller’s warm voiceprint characterize the song, while the pace, which immediately quickens halfway through, makes the track highly throbbing.

Speaking about his latest release, Miller Blue has said: “It stemmed from a period of reflection after a breakup the year prior. I realised I could finally allow myself to connect with other souls and fully embrace others again. It came in the form of dance, no language was needed”.

He also added: “I found this sentiment quite beautiful, the fact that we as humans can connect on such a deep level without needing to use verbal language has always fascinated me. The timeless feeling we can create from simply allowing ourselves to connect with others is special and I felt this was a good way of communicating that through music”.

Miller Blue’s next project Sunflower is expected to arrive in early 2020, listen to “Make You Move” below:
