Millie Bobby Brown Teams Up With Thai Designer Pauline Wattanodom For New Converse Collection | Fashion News

Actress Millie Bobby Brown will be releasing her third Converse By You collection tomorrow, March 15, and for this collection, the actress has teamed up with Pauline Wattanodom, a 20-year-old Thai multidisciplinary artist.

After discovering the young designer’s illustrations, Millie felt a “connection to her art”, after six months of collaboration, both women have designed an assortment of illustrations, materials, and colour palettes that will cover the classic Chuck Taylor All Star and Platform Chuck Taylor All Star trainers. They also received help from the Converse design team to make the project work.

The color palette ranges from soft yellow to lavender to very soft mint green, and it will also be possible for buyers to choose the screen-printed trainer patch, create embroidered eyelets, and add a personal identifier.

Speaking about the collaboration, Brown says, “To me, fashion is such a strong expression of who we are as girls and it does contribute greatly to our sense of identity. Empowered women empower women. The more people empower me, the more I want to empower people. That’s a never-ending cycle of amazing women, like Pauline”.

At 17 years old, Millie Bobby Brown is the youngest collaborator of the brand, and her new collaboration will be available on March 15 on the Converse website.
