Slick impressionist and comic-actress Morgana Robinson will soon be starring in her very own BBC2 sketch show, called Impressions Of Fame. Over 6 episodes, a host of big names will join Robinson to poke fun at the world of celebrities. Robinson will be treating us to new impressions of Miranda Hart, Bake Off’s Mel and Sue, and QI’s Alan Davies, as well as old favourites such as Russell Brand, Eastenders’ Natalie Cassidy and phenomenal Fearne Cotton.

Robinson first headlined her own show back in 2010, with Channel 4’s The Morgana Show. Two years later, she was back on the same channel fronting Very Important People, alongside The Mimic’s Terry Mynott, sending up celebrities such as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Adele and TOWIE’s Amy Childs. Since then, the 33 year old has popped up in sitcoms Toast Of London and the recently axed House Of Fools, the sitcom from double-act Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.

She’ll also be competing in next year’s Great Sport Relief Bake Off to raise money for the charity. Described as “a comedic force of nature” by the BBC’s Comedy Commissioner Gregor Sharp, Robinson is one to watch in 2016. As her Fearne Cotton would say, she’s certainly got the “skillz”.
