Natalie Imbruglia – Instant Crush (Daft Punk + Julian Casablancas Cover) | New Music

A veteran singer/songwriter, model and actress, Natalie Imbruglia has done many things over the course of her career. After acting in the Australian Soap opera Neighbours for a number of years, she moved to London in 1994, where she began her singing career, releasing “Torn” in 1997, originally by the band Ednaswap. Imbruglia’s cover did very well, winning her two MTV Awards for ‘Best New Artist’ and ‘Single Of The Year’.

Her debut Album Left In The Middle sold over 6 million copies worldwide, her other albums after that didn’t do as well, but in 2013, Natalie signed with Sony Masterworks and New York management company, Primary Wave Music to help revive her music career. She’s now back with a cover of Daft Punk and Julian Casablancas track “Instant Crush” adding a Spanish sound to the track. Her next album coming out in July is all covers, consisting of songs all originally recorded by male artists. Listen to her first cover “Instant Crush” down below.
