Netflix have confirmed that Gilmore Girls will be joining the list of revivals currently on the streaming services radar. The revival will supposedly take the form of four 90-minute episodes, but this has yet to be officially confirmed. Series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino will be heading the show’s revival as director and writer, alongside her husband Daniel Palladino who will serve as co-executive producer.
Many of the show’s original cast are set to return, with Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn, and Keiko Agena already confirmed. However, rumor also has it that Melissa McCarthy will probably not be making an appearance due to her current popularity and schedule, though again, nothing is set in stone.
