From the announcement that Netflix will be releasing a series based on the Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events 13-part book series, they have kept details very tightly under wraps. We have no idea who is to direct, or who is behind the series, but a teaser trailer has been released online, with no word about whether it’s real or not. The promo is played over a mournful sounding version of the Dresden Dolls’ “Missed Me”, and contains many visual links to the book series and creepy crawlies alike, with a shadowy glimpse of Snicket himself. The series, yet to even have a name, will land on the streaming giant some time in 2016.
